Last weekend was the first time I was in the stadium in Stuttgart to see the VfB live. It was the perfect match to do so. They were facing Alemannia Aachen one of my favorite teams since I lived in Aachen for quite some time.

Aachen is playing 1. Bundesliga (the highest league in German football) for the first year since decades. During my time in Aachen they were playing 2nd league all the time and never ever managed to get up. The first year after I left they managed to do so. By the way my other and really most loved team is 1.FC Kaiserslautern (now in the 2nd league, but that’s another story).

Back to the weekend. VfB-Alemannia, so far so good. The only drawback was that the colleague who joint me is not really a fan but more a Stuttgart suporter. So we had tickets for the Stuttgart block. Next was that there were some special fan block choreographics cause the Commando Cannstadt, a VfB supportes fan club exits for nearly 10 years.

Then the match started. Not a very good one. Aachen only well at single actions. So Stuttgart then shoot the 1:0. Later Aachen could get the 1:1 (its no fun to be happy then inbetween Stuttgart supportes, so I kept cool). But then in the end Stuttgart was superior by margin and won 3:1. Now everything is possible for them again in the Meisterschaft since Schalke lost against Bayern.
