… and music.
Saw he movie yesterday and I have to tell it was not worth the time. We should’ve stayed in the city for another ‘Mojito’ or ‘Mai Tai’. There are much better films than this one. A lot looks like taken from ‘Event Horizon’, so better go to see this movie again. Even some ideas were taken from classics like ‘2001′. But it doesn’t help. The best is to stay outside in the sunshine instead of waisting time.
Today I was running through the city and visited several music stores and I bought a lot of new music:
Candy Dulfer ‘Live at Montreaux 2002′. Great stuff especially if you like sax. The new ‘Juli’ record. Lets see, not checked so far. Then e.s.t.’s ‘From Gagarin’s Point of View’ with the incredible cool and amazing ‘Dodge The Dodo’. What a record! Perfect! Further Nelly Furtado ‘Loose’. Fun. Finally the English album from Carla Bruni: ‘No Promises’. Not checked, yet. But I like ‘Those Dancing Days are Gone’ and it is two times on the record, one alternative take with Lou Reed!
Then I sticked to itunes in the evening: I was searching for the song from the new Ballantine’s spot: ‘Ebben? Ne Andro Lontana’. It’s an aria from ‘La Wally’. Very perfect.
By the way: music. I’m really looking forward to the Stuttgart Jazz Open. Wow! The program is getting better and better.
